LASER for Vocal Cord surgery

Vocal cord diseases are usually associated with a swelling or multiple swellings in the vocal cords. A LASER can be used during surgery to precisely and accurately remove the disease tissue, thus preserving the vibrating edge/surface of the vocal cords. This leads to a quicker return to the normal voice for most patients. LASER also leads to a minimal or no scarring, which translates into better results in voice recovery.
