LASER SURGERY

A LASER can be used to treat many conditions in the Ear, Nose or Throat.

EAR : LASER is an excellent tool in the surgical treatment of Otosclerosis. A LASER Stapedotomy surgery gives excellent results in restoring hearing.

NOSE : Many nasal lesions and tumours can be better removed with the help of a LASER.

THROAT : Mainly used for vocal cord disorders where LASER assisted procedures lead to a quicker return to the normal voice for most patients. Vocal cord disorders are usually associated with a swelling or multiple swellings in the vocal cords. A LASER used during surgery precisely and accurately removes the diseased tissue, thus preserving the vibrating edge/ surface of the vocal cords. LASER use leads to minimal or no scarring.
